Professor in Nursing Job Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Professor in Nursing to join our academic community. The successful candidate will contribute to teaching, research, and engagement within the School of Nursing and Midwifery.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, coordinating, teaching and assessing across a variety of clinical and theoretical nursing subjects at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. You will also engage with industry partners and consumers in subject design, producing high-quality research outcomes and managing small research projects.

The role involves supervising Honours, Masters and Doctoral students and building strong connections with industry and the wider academic community.

About the Role
As a Professor, you will bring strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to build effective and collaborative relationships with colleagues, students and industry partners. With experience in high-quality course development, design and delivery, you will also have the capability to mentor early and mid-career researchers, supporting their academic and professional success.

  • PhD in nursing (or close to completion)
  • APHRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Strong research record with evidence of quality publications and attracting external competitive research grants.
