Job Description

This is a senior pipeline engineer role that requires leading long-term asset integrity planning across a large upstream network in QLD.

  • Deliver long-term pipeline integrity programs aligned with AS2885 standards.
  • Conduct fitness-for-service evaluations, defect assessments, and SMS reviews.
  • Optimise inspection strategies, maintenance plans, and integrity frameworks.
  • Provide SME input across pipeline projects, procurement, and vendor engagement.
  • Support incident investigations, emergency response planning, and remediation.
  • Collaborate across Operations, Engineering, and Project Delivery teams.
  • Mentor and support the development of early-career engineers.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a pipeline-relevant engineering discipline.
  • Considerable experience in engineering roles, ideally in pipeline or asset integrity.
  • RPEQ certification (or eligibility to obtain).
  • Strong knowledge of AS2885 and related standards.
  • Proven ability to assess pipeline threats and damage mechanisms.
  • Experience in managing pipeline inspections, maintenance, and repair.
