Infrastructure Expertise Leader

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Lead Infrastructure Specialist to lead the development and maintenance of engineering standards that support the safe and efficient lifecycle of infrastructure, while protecting assets from external impacts.
As the go-to expert for civil and pipeline engineering work, you will work with internal and external project teams undertaking work on or near Seqwater infrastructure to ensure the work is technically sound, compliant, and fit for purpose and will not impact Seqwaters infrastructure or its ongoing operation, maintenance or future augmentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice and troubleshooting to ensure Seqwater's civil and pipeline infrastructure is safe, reliable, and compliant.
- Review internal and third-party projects, setting engineering conditions to protect Seqwater assets and ensure fit-for-purpose outcomes.
- Develop and maintain engineering standards and procedures that support efficient, safe, and compliant infrastructure lifecycle management.
- Act as RPEQ subject matter expert, endorsing engineering decisions, technical changes, and risk assessments aligned with best practice.
- Lead investigations and improvement initiatives to enhance infrastructure performance, safety, and efficiency through audits and technical studies.
