Seeking experienced construction professionals to oversee on-site operations in Brisbane, AU.

About the Role

This permanent position offers a competitive salary, superannuation, company vehicle, fuel card, and company tablet and mobile phone. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of structures knowledge and proven experience as a Civil Construction Foreman including WHS, Construction White Card, and analytical expertise within civil construction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all onsite construction to monitor compliance with safety standards
  • Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors to ensure efficient project completion
  • Select tools, materials, and equipment to meet project requirements
  • Assist the Project Manager to meet client contractual obligations and maintain quality construction standards
  • Review work progress on a daily basis and assist with Daily/Weekly reporting to the client
  • Help forward plan to prevent future project issues and obtain necessary permits and licenses
  • Ensure all documentation is up-to-date, including risk assessments, SWMS, and quality control reports

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proven experience in the Civil Construction Industry, ideally as a Carpenter
  • Understanding of the civil concrete and structures industry
  • Solid tech knowledge and analytical expertise within civil construction
  • Sound general knowledge of building products and construction
  • Ability to accurately interpret plans and specifications and meet project deadlines
