**Job Role:** Medical Team Coordinator

The role of the Medical Team Coordinator is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of the medical administration workforce at North Canberra Hospital.

Key responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day operations, designing and maintaining rosters for junior medical officers, and leading the team in JMO rostering, leave, locum engagement, finance, auditing, education, and pastoral care.

Effective collaboration with JMO Directors, clinical department leaders, and colleagues across both hospitals is essential to guarantee adequate workforce planning and recruitment.

This position demands a result-driven approach, strong leadership skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily activities of the medical administration team
  • Design and maintain medical rosters for junior medical officers
  • Lead the medical administration team in JMO rostering, leave, locum engagement, finance, auditing, education, and pastoral care
  • Collaborate closely with JMO Directors and clinical department leaders to ensure effective workforce planning and recruitment
