Job Summary

About You
  • Operational HR experience, including payroll is required.
  • A strong knowledge of awards, legislation, and compliance frameworks is necessary.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building ability is also required.
  • Local Government experience (desirable).
  • A current driver's licence and willingness to live and work in a regional location are must-haves.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervising 3 staff across HR and payroll.
  • Manage daily HR functions, including employee relations, payroll, and learning and development activities.
  • Provide expert advice on workplace legislation, industrial relations, and organisational change processes.
  • Support leaders and staff through employee relations matters, including investigations and performance issues.
  • Represent the organisation in meetings and provide accurate, timely reporting as required.
  • Build strong working relationships with supervisors to support positive outcomes for staff and business units.
  • Contribute to audits, reviews, and improvements within HR systems and processes.
