Water Resource Specialist Opportunity

This role involves collaboration with diverse specialists and technical disciplines on flood assessment projects, stormwater management plans, and mine waste management initiatives.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support water-sensitive urban design, drainage design, and hydraulic design for civil works projects.
  • Contribute to transformative projects in the region and across Australia, New Zealand, and beyond.
  • You will be supported in obtaining CPEng and RPEQ accreditation if not already held, along with strong mentoring and career progression support.
  • Develop comprehensive flood studies and ideally, water balance models.
Required Expertise
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in an engineering discipline & RPEQ/CPEng (or working towards).
  • Familiarity with ARR2019, TMR Drainage Manual, and QUDM guidelines.
  • Experience with various water resource modeling packages such as TUFLOW, DRAINS, HEC-RAS (1D and 2D), RORB, XP-RAFTS, URBS, MUSIC, GoldSim etc., and proficiency in 12D design and GIS software.
