Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing our financial operations, driving strategic growth, and ensuring the fiscal health of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement financial plans, forecasts, and budgets to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to stakeholders, including management, board members, and regulatory bodies.
  • Financial Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively.
  • Financial Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks to ensure the organization's financial stability and security.
  • Financial Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax laws, and government regulations.
Requirements
  • Professional Qualifications: Professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, or equivalent)
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in finance, including at least 2 years in a senior role with team leadership responsibilities
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax regulations, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong leadership and team management abilities, and proficiency in financial management software and advanced Excel skills.
