We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to lead our financial operations and drive strategic growth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, analysis, and reporting, ensuring the fiscal health of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement financial plans and strategies to support business growth and profitability.
  • Lead financial reporting activities, including the preparation of monthly, half-yearly, and annual financial statements.
  • Manage cash flow and treasury operations, ensuring timely submission of financial reports and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making, identifying areas for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Lead a team of accountants, including hiring, training, and performance management, to ensure the highest level of financial expertise and accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax laws, and government regulations, maintaining a strong control environment.
Requirements:
  • Professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in finance, including at least 2 years in a senior role with team leadership responsibilities
  • Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax regulations
  • Experience in the transportation industry or government contracting is highly desirable
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a proven track record of developing and motivating high-performing teams
