Role Overview
As a member of our Business Consulting team, your primary responsibility will be to deliver a comprehensive suite of accounting solutions to our clients. This includes providing expert advice, preparing financial statements, and conducting management reporting. You will also oversee the work of junior team members and offer mentorship.
Your key responsibilities will encompass, but are not limited to:
- Creating and managing intricate financial reports utilizing Xero and MYOB software.
- Preparing detailed Business Activity Statements (BAS).
- Independently preparing and reviewing complex tax returns and financial statements for individuals, corporations, trusts, and partnerships.
- Generating management accounts, cash flow statements, and annual financial reports across various business structures and industries.
- Supporting the development and training of junior staff members.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience as an Accountant, specifically in providing business advisory services. You should hold relevant tertiary qualifications and be a certified CA/CPA Accountant. The successful applicant will be proactive, a strong team player, and eager to contribute to a dynamic work environment. You will be adept at building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels and demonstrate a solid technical foundation along with a forward-thinking approach.
