Role Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated Senior Accountant to enhance our Business Advisory team in Darwin. This position presents an excellent opportunity to advance your career in a fulfilling role, where you will collaborate with a variety of clients across multiple sectors.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, your primary responsibility will be to deliver a range of accounting solutions to our clients, which includes:

  1. Generating and maintaining intricate financial reports utilizing Xero and MYOB.
  2. Preparing detailed BAS returns.
  3. Independently preparing and reviewing complex tax returns and financial statements for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships.
  4. Creating management accounts, cash flow statements, and annual financial reports across various entity structures and industries.
  5. Supporting the development and coaching of junior staff members.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess proven experience as an Accountant, specifically in providing business advisory services. You should hold relevant tertiary qualifications and be a CA/CPA certified Accountant. The successful applicant will be motivated, a strong team player, and eager to be part of a dynamic group. You will be capable of fostering strong stakeholder relationships at all levels and will demonstrate a solid technical understanding along with a proactive approach.
