Site Operations Lead

Key responsibilities of the Site Operations Supervisor include overseeing daily operations in construction zones during event setup and teardown, as well as during tournament days. They must be an active presence on-site, identifying safety concerns and risk issues that require intervention or control.
The Site Operations Supervisor will coordinate and communicate with contractors, clients, staff, and event personnel regarding site procedures and venue restrictions. They will also foster a positive work environment onsite with suppliers and stakeholders.
A key aspect of the role is coordinating plant, labour, and logistics for task completion during event setup, tournament days, and event teardown.
To be successful in this position, candidates should have major event experience, preferably with exposure to overlay, operations, and logistics. Contractor management experience is desirable.
Candidates must possess excellent communication skills, be able to engage quickly with people from diverse backgrounds, think critically, and be solution-driven. They must also hold a valid Construction Induction Card (or equivalent) and have a current Victorian Driver's license (desirable).
