At HR Partners, we are seeking an exceptional HR Manager to drive our operational services and support the strategic growth of our business.

This is a unique opportunity to join our team and make a meaningful impact in the industrial distribution industry.

The ideal candidate will have a strong operational HR foundation, preferably from a standalone role, and be able to contribute expertise to a broad range of HR initiatives, including recruitment policy, ER, and supervising payroll.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and monitoring the performance management system
  • Managing and resolving complex employee relations issues
  • Managing WHS issues and workers compensation claims
  • Maintaining company policies and procedures and human resources records
  • Providing day-to-day performance management guidance, including coaching, counseling, career development
  • Facilitating employee life cycle, including recruitment, selection, and on-boarding
  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining HR policies and processes
  • Ensuring HR and payroll systems are compliant with company policies, government regulations, and audit requirements
  • Overseeing the payroll function and resolving queries
  • Managing remuneration and salary reviews

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5+ years of experience in HR Management, ideally within industrial or manufacturing industries
  • Demonstrated experience with Employee relations and IR issues
  • Empathy, integrity, intelligence, and self-driven
  • Ability to work independently in a busy, multi-skilled work environment
  • Engagement in managing safety, health, and well-being
  • Ability to provide accurate, timely, and pragmatic advice to colleagues, managers, and staff
  • Capability of partnering with senior leaders to drive organisational strategies
  • Exceptional collaboration and interpersonal abilities
  • Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work under pressure
