Key Role in a Sustainable Kitchen

We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our team at a stunning restaurant located on a winery in Nashdale.

The successful candidate will play a key role in leading the kitchen team and supporting the Head Chef in day-to-day operations, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality, contemporary dishes.

About the Role

  • Assist in the management of daily kitchen operations
  • Lead and motivate the team in the Head Chef's absence
  • Contribute to menu design and innovation with seasonal, local produce
  • Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment
  • Oversee stock control, ordering, and kitchen administration

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong background as a Senior Chef de Partie in a high-quality kitchen
  • Passionate about local produce and modern Australian cuisine
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Organised, professional, and committed to excellence
  • A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
