Leisure Programs Coordinator Role

This is a fulfilling opportunity for a compassionate and caring professional to lead the development of exceptional lifestyle programs that promote wellbeing and foster a vibrant community atmosphere.

The successful candidate will provide mentorship to colleagues and support them in their roles to maintain smooth daily operations.

  • Promote wellbeing and foster a vibrant community atmosphere through innovative lifestyle program initiatives.
  • Lead teams in delivering high-quality care and services that meet the diverse needs of residents.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective care plans that cater to resident requirements.

The Leisure Programs Coordinator will have a strong understanding of Aged Care principles, resident rights, and responsibilities. They will also possess excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging lifestyle programs that promote wellbeing and foster a vibrant community atmosphere.
  • Provide mentorship and support to colleagues to ensure they are equipped to deliver high-quality care and services.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports using care management software.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Leisure & Lifestyle or Diversional Therapy (or other relevant qualification).
  • Experience working in aged care facilities, developing leisure programs.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Excellent communication and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of Aged Care principles and resident rights.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card) is mandatory.
