About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IMA Department Manager to join our team at Apex Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the IMA department and team to ensure the efficient delivery of client services and meeting the required SLAs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage IRESS operations, including transaction capture, security database maintenance, update internal procedure documentation, and managed account reporting.
  • Oversee staff training and development to ensure the team has the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality services.
  • Manage client relationships, attending meetings and regular client contact to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Perform other ad hoc responsibilities as required.

Requirements

  • 2+ years management/Team leader experience in the financial services industry.
  • Tertiary qualified in Business discipline.
  • 5+ years experience in the financial services industry with exposure to the trade process flow.
  • Knowledge of IRESS (IPS) is an advantage.
  • Strong practical understanding of the processing of the tax characteristics of Australian trust distributions.
