The Opportunity

As a senior interior designer, you will play a pivotal role in driving successful project outcomes through strategic design thinking, meticulous documentation, and effective communication with clients and stakeholders. Your expertise will be crucial in creating visually stunning and functional spaces that meet the evolving needs of businesses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop innovative design concepts that align with client objectives and exceed expectations
  • Collaborate closely with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless project delivery
  • Utilize industry-standard software, including ArchiCAD, AutoCAD, or Revit, to create detailed models and visualizations
  • Prepare comprehensive plans, diagrams, and specifications for interior construction projects
  • Source high-quality materials and finishes while maintaining budgetary constraints
  • Conceptualize and develop design plans that balance aesthetics with functionality and sustainability
  • Ensure accurate project documentation and administration are maintained at all times
  • Provide guidance, support, and training to junior team members to foster growth and development within the organization
Requirements
  • At least 6 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in commercial fitouts and workplace design
  • Tertiary qualifications in Interior Design or a related field
  • Proven knowledge of Australian building codes, regulations, and standards
  • Proficiency in industry-leading software, such as ArchiCAD, AutoCAD, or Revit
  • Expertise in commercial fitouts, particularly in the workplace sector
  • Australian work rights and eligibility to work in the country
