A career-defining opportunity has emerged for an experienced Interior Designer to join a thriving Design and Construction firm.

This exciting role offers the chance to be hands-on, part of design decisions, and drive project outcomes. As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for the successful design and documentation of all projects, ensuring they are completed within time frame, budget, and standards.

  • Ensure your projects meet scope, budget, and time frame requirements.
  • Maintain client relationships and collaborate with architects or builders on project needs.
  • Create models and visuals using computer applications/design software (such as Revit / ArchiCAD / AutoCAD).
  • Research and prepare plans, diagrams or sketches for interior constructions, materials, finishes, lighting, and furnishing.
  • Select suppliers of materials and finishes.
  • Conceptualize and sketch design plans.
  • Establish and maintain accurate project documentation and administration.
  • Develop and implement effective team coaching, mentoring, and upskilling strategies.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • 6+ years experience in a similar position
  • Tertiary qualifications in Interior Design or relevant field
  • Australian experience and knowledge of local building codes
  • Proficiency in software including ArchiCAD, AutoCAD, or Revit
  • Experience in commercial fitouts, specifically workplace environments
  • A valid Australian work visa
