About this Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Project Scheduler with experience in major equipment capability systems and acquisition. The successful candidate must have previous experience working in a team to deliver major Defence and Government projects. A diverse experience base in other sectors and experience in major acquisitions is advantageous.

Salary

The estimated annual salary for this role is around $120,000 - $150,000, depending on experience. RPS Group offers a competitive remuneration package that reflects your skills and qualifications.

Job Description

A Project Scheduler is responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling project schedules to ensure timely completion. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining accurate project schedules using Microsoft Project.
  • Collaborating with project teams to identify and mitigate schedule risks.
  • Providing regular project progress reports to stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Tertiary qualifications in engineering, science, or related fields.
  • Minimum 4 years' experience with complex schedules.
  • Scheduling experience with large Programs is essential.
  • Experience with Defence risk and schedule management methodologies is highly desirable.
