Job Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant - Business Services to join their team. As a senior, you will be responsible for supervising and controlling day-to-day assignments, working on technical tasks, and being a professional champion for the firm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and control the day-to-day assignments of staff, ensuring they are aware of their responsibilities, allocate work, review work, coordinate workflow to ensure maximum outcomes, mentor and train staff, meet with clients, and engage with a range of stakeholders.
  • Work on technical assignments as instructed by directors.
Requirements
  • Previous business services and client-facing experience.
  • 3-5 years current and relevant experience in an Australian public practice.
  • Excellent customer service experience.
  • Proficient in producing financial statements for companies, taking work from end to end as a compliant piece of work, partnerships, and trusts.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communications skills.
  • Proficient with technology and able to utilize Xero and MYOB as accounting software tools.
  • Degree qualified and Chartered Accountant (CA).
