Revenue Growth Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Data Strategist to join our team at Seven West Media in Sydney.

About the Role:

This 12-month fixed term contract role plays a strategic part in driving sustainable growth for our company. As a key member of our Revenue Operations and Trading team, you will be responsible for providing analysis, insights, trading, yield management, forecasting, and policy decisions to support senior management and sales staff in optimising revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Work: Develop and implement projects, managing internal and external communication of these projects.
  • Yield Management: Drive best practice across the business on yield and inventory management, utilising leading platforms, systems, and processes.
  • Inventory Optimisation: Identify underperforming assets across the ecosystem and provide insights and potential solutions to increase revenue.
  • Reporting: Deliver accurate, insightful, up-to-date reports to line managers and senior management within the company and external stakeholders.
  • Forecasting: Monitor, report, and interpret sales revenue, demand, and forecast information to support the development of appropriate sales strategies and policies.
  • Market Understanding: Maintain a broad, up-to-date knowledge of economic conditions locally and globally that may impact our revenue management.
  • Revenue Solutions: Collaborate with Commercial Inventory Management and team members to find business solutions maximising revenue and yield outcomes.

Your Professional Background:

You possess strong persuasive communication skills, advanced data analysis abilities, and thrive in a dynamic environment. Ideally, you have prior experience in advertising, sales, marketing, analytical management, media buying, intermediate data analysis, and Excel modelling skills.

Salary Information:

The estimated annual salary for this position is AU$100,000 - AU$120,000 depending on experience.
