About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Strategist to support our Land Lease Communities business. This is a 6-month contract requiring a self-starter who can deliver across market-leading Land Lease development projects.

This role involves building key relationships and becoming a trusted finance business partner for Land Lease Communities development in Victoria. As a Senior Financial Strategist, you will work with key business stakeholders to drive Business Unit strategy and financial goals, reporting activities, and ensuring compliance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Driving and supporting Project Feasibilities in Anaplan and Financial Modelling for scenario analysis.
  • Engaging with the Business Unit team and Senior Finance Leadership Team to identify opportunities, manage risks, and drive business performance.
  • Analysing drivers of business performance and ensuring all risks are communicated, mitigated, and minimised.
  • Challenging current finance processes and assumptions to drive greater control, accuracy, and simplification.
  • Developing advice on implications to drive strategic decision making.
  • Supporting positive change management initiatives and process enhancement across the Business Unit and finance.
  • Building and maintaining strong working relationships with key internal customers and stakeholders.
  • Taking an active leadership role in broader innovation across the Business Unit at a state/divisional level.
  • Assisting with the preparation of a timely, relevant, and accurate Business Unit Budget.
  • Supporting the review of business opportunities for profit/income maximisation and cost optimisation/reduction.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A CA/CPA or equivalent accreditation.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and Business Partner with Senior Managers.
  • Experience in Anaplan or similar planning and financial modelling tools.
  • Experience in financial modelling from complex financial and business data.
  • Experience in commercial management, financial accounting, forecasting, and analysis or planning and business insight in a similar level role.
  • Experience in handling large/complex data sets, process improvement, financial modelling.
  • Experience in developing and supporting business plans.
  • Experience in project accounting and cashflow management.

The estimated salary range for this position is AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, based on experience.
