Job Opportunity: Weekend Kitchenhand and Housekeeper

We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team at an Aboriginal Hostel facility.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of important work that supports First Nations peoples across Australia.

As a Weekend Kitchenhand and Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, clean, and welcoming environment at our facilities.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assisting with food ordering, receiving, and monitoring kitchen supplies.
  • Cleaning and maintaining kitchen and kitchen equipment.
  • Preparing the dining room for meal times and cleaning up afterwards.
Additional Duties:
  • Cleaning and maintaining rooms, communal areas, kitchens, bathrooms, and hallways across AHL facilities.
  • Making sure all areas are clean, safe, and hygienic for residents and staff.
  • Handling cleaning supplies and equipment carefully and following safety guidelines.
  • Assisting with other tasks, such as laundry and setting up for events, when needed.
