We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to lead our adventure tourism operations.

As an Adventure Tourism Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of outdoor activities, including resource management, customer service, safety training, and supervision.

Your primary focus will be on managing daily operations, ensuring seamless delivery of services, and maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction.

You will be responsible for:

  • Managing daily operations of outdoor activities, including team member rostering & rotation and performance management
  • Conducting pre-tour orientation and training for customers
  • Inspecting and setting out all course components and gear
  • Assisting with department open and closing procedures
  • Conducting regular inspections and audits of safety equipment, work areas, paths and trails, park activity structures to identify and remedy potential safety hazards or issues
  • Preparing detailed reports on daily operations and customer feedback for senior management

The ideal candidate will have:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Safely Work at Heights RIIWHS204E certification
  • Vertical Rescue Certification
  • Cert IV Work Health Safety advantageous
  • Certificate II in Sport & Recreation SIS20115 is advantageous
  • Computer confidence and working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • An understanding of exposure and working in outdoor environments
  • A positive and happy outlook with a can-do attitude
  • Be a team player, strong leader and self-motivated
  • High level of physical fitness
