Enhance Awareness of Aboriginal Cultural Values in Healthcare

Job Description:

This role aims to improve the health outcomes of the Aboriginal population by developing and implementing culturally appropriate education programs, strategies, and resources.

  • Promote evidence-informed cultural education in various settings
  • Support, develop, and deliver formal education programs across Monash Health
  • Contribute to policy development and clinical practice guidelines for Aboriginal patients
  • Participate in and support Aboriginal health research
Requirements:

To be eligible for this position, you must be an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person. You are passionate about supporting and advocating for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders and dedicated to improving health outcomes for this priority population group.

  • Proven experience working in health, particularly Aboriginal Health
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strategy and translate strategic objectives into operational performance
  • Well-developed verbal and presentation skills
