About the Fleet Asset Management Role

The Fleet Asset Lead plays a pivotal part in driving safety, regulatory compliance, and optimal fleet availability across the organization. This position is responsible for ensuring the effective inspection, maintenance, and operational readiness of our light & heavy vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing fleet asset programs in transport, waste, or industrial services environments
  • Coordinating vehicle builds and deployments across multi-site or field-based operations
  • Developing vehicle specifications that meet operational needs and align with national fleet standards
  • Stakeholder engagement across operational, commercial, and procurement functions
  • Capital planning, delivery scheduling, and monitoring asset performance
  • Understanding the fleet asset lifecycle, including specification, procurement, commissioning, and disposal
  • Practical knowledge of build tracking processes and coordination with OEMs and body builders
  • Experience with asset data systems such as JDE and Coupa
Fleet Asset Lead Job Requirements
  • Proven experience in fleet management or a related field
  • Strong understanding of fleet asset lifecycle and related processes
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
