Corporate Governance Specialist
Key Responsibilities:This is a pivotal opportunity to strengthen governance frameworks and provide expert legal guidance supporting strategic objectives.
You will collaborate across the organisation ensuring robust, transparent, and effective governance, quality, and risk management programs. You'll provide in-house legal counsel, coordinate external advice, and contribute to best practice compliance and governance.
- Implementing and refining governance structures.
- Coordinating external legal expertise and delivering in-house guidance on complex matters.
- Negotiating and reviewing agreements for the lease and land tenure portfolio.
- Offering advice, training, and guidance on governance and legal issues.
- Managing complaints and investigations in line with relevant policies.
We seek an experienced professional who brings the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Law (or relevant field).
- Australian Lawyer admission.
- Current practising certificate or eligibility to obtain.
- Demonstrated experience in commercial leasing and complaints handling.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
