Wind Turbine Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Wind Turbine Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our wind turbines.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on wind turbines to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Complete relevant paperwork, including work order cards and checklists, to maintain accurate records.
  • Assist with high-voltage system maintenance and repair, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Recognize occurrences of wind turbine error codes and report issues to management for prompt resolution.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required; Associate's degree is preferred but not mandatory.
  • A minimum of 1+ years' experience as a Wind Turbine Technician is essential.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is necessary.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, and follow instructions, is crucial.
  • Physical fitness level must be capable of lifting and/or moving up to 100 pounds, and working in extreme weather conditions.
