Altrad Sparrows is a trusted global provider of engineering and maintenance services to the energy sector. With a growing presence in Australia's renewable energy industry, we work closely with leading OEMs and operators to ensure turbines are safe, reliable, and performing at their best.

We're looking for experienced Wind Turbine Technicians to join our exciting and simplified renewables team for servicing newly installed turbines in Western Australia.

About the Role

You'll be working on-site with our quality team in conjunction with the OEM to complete initial servicing on freshly installed turbines. This includes checking, testing, and rectifying items to ensure each turbine meets the required OEM and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities


• Perform functional checks and verification of turbine systems


• Rectify minor mechanical, electrical, or component issues


• Ensure all works meet OEM specifications and quality standards


• Follow safe work procedures and comply with site HSE requirements


• Complete daily reports and close-out documentation


• Report any HSEQ concerns


• Actively participate in improvements, SWMS, toolboxes and procedures for continued client relationship building

What You'll Need

  • Minimum 2 years' wind turbine service or commissioning experience
  • GWO Basic Safety Training – including Working at Heights, First Aid, Manual Handling, Fire Awareness (mandatory)
  • White Card – Construction Induction (mandatory)
  • WA electrical license (desirable)
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Willingness to work in remote WA locations
  • Team player with good communication skills
