We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with precision maintenance instruments and providing excellent customer service. You will work closely with customers and product specialists to inspect, calibrate, and maintain high-precision equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain relationships with instrument OEMs, product experts, and customers through effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Provide exceptional customer service related to repair and calibration work, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Clean and inspect precision maintenance instruments for damage or faults, using your attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Complete instrument calibrations according to OEM guidelines and issue calibration certificates, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues to identify root causes and implement repairs according to OEM standards, demonstrating your technical expertise and analytical skills.
  • Collaborate with the OEM on complex troubleshooting and repairs, leveraging your knowledge and experience to deliver results.
  • Maintain detailed records of calibration and repair works, including photographs, inspection reports, and calibration records, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Contribute to service centre planning and strategy, utilizing your analytical skills and business acumen to drive growth and improvement.
Requirements
  • Self-motivated individual capable of operating autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Ability to work effectively with overseas OEMs, demonstrating cultural awareness and adaptability.
  • Disciplined and systematic approach to work management, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Experience in fine mechanical and electronic repairs, showcasing your technical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent fine soldering skills and experience, highlighting your ability to work with precision instruments.
  • Proficiency in using IT systems for work management, demonstrating your technical expertise and adaptability.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, showcasing your administrative abilities and business acumen.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and ability to take initiative, driving results and delivering value.
  • Instrumentation technician training would be highly beneficial, highlighting your commitment to professional development.
  • Residency in NSW with a readiness for occasional overseas travel (1 week every year) for training, showcasing your adaptability and willingness to learn.
