
Quality Coordinator for Echo Technologists

Echo technologists play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care. The Quality Coordinator for Echo Technologists will support new hire orientation, student precepting, department education, and quality improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate sonographer performance, provide training and support as needed, and ensure adherence to industry standards.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive training programs for sonographers, focusing on ICAEL requirements.
- Collaborate with Medical Directors on quality improvement projects, including lecture development and valve clinic review, to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain accurate records of recertification processes.
- 5+ years of experience as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS, RDMS, or RCS).
- Graduate from an accredited cardiac sonography program.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective feedback and relationship-building.
- Able to serve as a coach, mentor, and positive role model within the organization.
