
Clinical Laboratory Specialist

As a Clinical Laboratory Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering operational laboratory services, including coordinating scientific and technical training and reviewing laboratory practices to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Main Responsibilities- Coordinate and provide scientific and technical training to staff members.
- Review and develop laboratory procedures to guarantee quality and adherence to regulations.
- Manage competing priorities to meet deadlines and work effectively in a team or independently.
- Bachelor Degree or higher in Science/Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent qualification.
- Demonstrated knowledge of pathology services, Laboratory Information Systems, and Quality Control Systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
- Certified Technologist (CT) qualification with proven experience in screening and reporting cytology preparations.
This is a permanent full-time position located at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney.
