Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist

Our organization is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our medical team. As an Intervential Radiology Technologist, you will perform advanced diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab.

Key responsibilities include preparing patients and equipment for procedures, ensuring good quality x-ray images, and maintaining x-ray related equipment. You will also scrub during procedures, assist physicians with catheter maneuvering, and monitor and record hemodynamic, electrical, and angiographic data.

  • Prepare Patients and Equipment: Prepare patients and equipment for cardiac lab procedures by arranging sterilized instruments and catheters, calibrating and setting up pressure transducers and tubing.
  • X-Ray Images: Ensure that all x-ray images are of good quality and x-ray related equipment for procedures are maintained.
  • Procedure Assistance: Scrubs during procedure, as applicable. Assists the physician in maneuvering catheters.
  • Data Monitoring: Monitors and records hemodynamic, electrical, and angiographic data by operating hemodynamic and electrical amplifiers and digital and line fluoroscopic equipment.
  • Lifeguarding: Participates in life-saving measures such as defibrillation and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

To be successful in this role, you will require an Associate degree in Radiology or completion of a certification program in Radiography, as well as current ARRT (R) and State of Indiana license as a Radiologic Technologist.
