About the Role

  • Lead a small team and manage day-to-day tasks, including invoice processing and payment runs.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders on invoices, payments, and payment runs.
  • Ensure compliance with the Department's payment timeframes and complete late payment reporting.
  • Monitor and action relevant late payments and arrange vendor payments.
  • Provide advice and guidance on policy and procedures.
  • Participate in business process improvement initiatives.

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary starting from $95,102 + 15.4% superannuation.
  • A centrally located work environment.
  • Full-time hours Monday to Friday.
  • Hybrid working arrangement.

Your Background

  • Prior experience in supervising a team and managing day-to-day tasks.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Good understanding of departmental finance systems, policies, and processes.
  • Experience with accounting software and a background in finance is desirable.

  • Australian Citizenship.
  • Baseline Clearance.
