Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Speech Pathologist to join our Diagnostic and Cochlear Implant Audiology team at the Royal Hobart Hospital.   • About the Role:
  • Provide and coordinate comprehensive speech pathology services to clients seen in the Statewide Audiology Service (includes the Tasmanian Cochlear Implant Clinic & Diagnostic Audiology Clinic).
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans to address complex communication disorders.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional client care.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Broad knowledge of pediatric speech pathology services within a multidisciplinary framework.
  2. Demonstrated expertise in assessing and addressing the impact of hearing loss on speech, language, and communication.
  3. Proven ability to exercise professional judgment and initiative in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in Applied Science, Speech Pathology or equivalent and eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Current Working with Children Registration.
