Senior Project Manager – NBN Upgrade
This is a key leadership role that requires significant experience in project management, strategic planning, and team leadership. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from inception to delivery, ensuring timely completion, quality standards, and cost effectiveness.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in civil engineering, as well as excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. You will be expected to collaborate closely with stakeholders, including construction teams, clients, and suppliers, to ensure seamless project execution.
You will lead a team of project engineers and oversee all aspects of project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation. Your ability to prioritize tasks, manage risk, and make informed decisions will be critical in delivering successful projects.
In this role, you will also be responsible for analyzing data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing process enhancements to optimize project outcomes. Your commitment to excellence, integrity, and customer satisfaction will be essential in maintaining our reputation for delivering high-quality projects.
Your qualifications should include a degree or diploma in civil engineering (or a related field) and proven experience in large-scale infrastructure projects. A project management certification (PMBOK, PMP, Prince2) would be highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of project engineers
- Collaborate with construction teams to plan and deliver full design and construction programs
- Ensure workforce, safety, quality, and scheduling needs are met
- Manage traffic plans, council approvals, and LAAN access notices
- Track and communicate variations and ensure timely reporting
- Oversee construction dashboards, trackers, and completion artefacts
- Coordinate stock orders and manage construction changes
- Analyze KPIs and lead improvement initiatives
- Ensure contract compliance and manage exemptions for KPI breaches
