Clinical Trials Pharmacist

GenesisCare is seeking an experienced Clinical Trials Pharmacist to join our dynamic pharmacy team based at our North Shore Clinic.
This is a full-time position on a maximum term contract through to 01/2026.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist clinical pharmacy services to patients receiving treatment at GenesisCare medical oncology centres.
- Participate in clinical pharmacy services, dispensary services, clinical trials, and medicines information.
- Provide comprehensive counselling to patients and education of healthcare staff at various levels about medicines management, common interactions, and appropriate medicines administration.
- Dispense medication, including chemotherapy to patients.
- Clinical review of treatment orders in MOSAIQ.
- Approving chemotherapy orders for preparation or supply.
- Releasing aseptically prepared products.
- Inventory management.
- Processing pharmacy invoices.
- Active member in a multidisciplinary team.
- Undertake and contribute to GenesisCare's governance activities through medication safety and Quality Use of Medicines.
- General unrestricted pharmacy registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Commitment to patient-focussed pharmacy practice.
- Minimum of three years of clinical pharmacy experience, preferably in an oncology/haematology setting.
- Excellent written, verbal, and electronic communication skills.
- Ability to co-ordinate clinical pharmacy services.
- Ability to interact effectively with people from diverse cultures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
