Exciting Opportunity for a Clinical Oncology Pharmacist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Oncology Pharmacist to join our team at Icon Group. As a Clinical Oncology Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality pharmacy services to our patients and contributing to the development of our oncology pharmacy team.

About the Role

This is a full-time opportunity for a Clinical Oncology Pharmacist to work in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will be responsible for coordinating and organizing the supply of chemotherapy for oncology inpatients and day oncology unit patients within our clinics. You will also develop and utilize your clinical skills to improve the outcome for cancer patients, perform medication chart reviews and medication reconciliation, record clinical interventions, build relationships across multidisciplinary teams, educate staff of Slade Pharmacy, and dispense and supply medication and pharmacy products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and organize the supply of chemotherapy for oncology inpatients and day oncology unit patients within our clinics
  • Develop and utilize your clinical skills to improve the outcome for cancer patients
  • Perform medication chart reviews and medication reconciliation
  • Record clinical interventions
  • Build relationships across multidisciplinary teams
  • Educate staff of Slade Pharmacy
  • Dispense and supply medication and pharmacy products
Requirements

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist with a thirst for knowledge and passion for cancer care. You will have a team-oriented attitude, a focus on delivering exceptional service and care to patients, and the ability to manage your own workload with good communication skills to effectively liaise with a wide range of health professionals. You will be highly driven and have high attention to detail.
