About the Role

The Venue Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a busy venue, ensuring exceptional customer experiences and contributing to revenue targets. This involves managing a team to deliver efficient services, oversee event activations, corporate functions, weddings, and exhibitions.

This role presents an exciting opportunity for a skilled Events or Venues Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing a high-performing team to provide customer-focused services and oversee the implementation of events, functions, and bookings.
  • Developing opportunities to grow the venue into a major event space and identifying and managing third-party event operators.
  • Overseeing the visitor centre, including providing visitor information, retail operations, coordinating events, customer services, and community activities.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Major Event operational experience in a public venue environment.
  • Experience in overseeing complex working environments, including multiple contracts and staff arrangements.
  • A current driver's license.

We are seeking a dedicated professional who can deliver exceptional customer experiences and work effectively outside normal hours if required.
