Job Summary
We are seeking highly skilled Security and Safety Officers to join our high-performing team. As a Security and Safety Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our employees, visitors, and patrons.
About the Role
You will be working closely with our Surveillance team to identify and report any security-related incidents or hazards. Your duties will include conducting patrols of the property, monitoring entry points, and providing assistance to patrons as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Working closely with the Surveillance team to proactively identify and report illegal & undesirable behavior
- Comprehensive entry point vetting as well as hotel, retail, bars, and event security duties
- Monitoring and assisting with Responsible Services of Alcohol
- Providing outstanding guest service as part of our dedication to responsible gaming
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- NW SLED 1AC Security Licence
- NW RSA and RCG Competency Cards and First Aid accreditation (or be willing to obtain)
- Customer service experience in fast-paced/licensed venues is advantageous
- Flexibility to work 8 - 12 hour shifts across a 24/7 rotating roster essential
- Good communication skills, with a positive and professional attitude
