Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Armed Security Officer to join our team in Sydney CBD. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing security presence at a corporate banking site, ensuring the safety and security of staff, visitors, and assets.
About the Role
The role is primarily responsible for:
- Regularly patrolling assigned areas to deter and detect signs of crime, unauthorized activity, or safety hazards.
- Ensuring property is locked and unlocked as required.
- De-escalating situations and handling conflicts in a calm and professional manner.
- Writing reports in response to incidents.
- Working with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
- Assisting visitors and employees by providing information and addressing concerns while maintaining a secure environment.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Certificate II in Security Operations and current First Aid certificate.
- Current NSW Security licence.
- Gun license and advanced first aid.
- Dedication, reliability, and a commitment to security.
- Physically fit and able to walk and stand for prolonged periods.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with approachability.
- Nice Computer literacy skills.
- The ability to work with minimal supervision and within a team environment.
Working Conditions
The role is a full-time position with a stable roster (Monday - Friday: 6:00 to 15:00), 45 hours a week. You will be working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on maintaining a secure environment.
Your Remuneration
The estimated salary for this role is $70,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience. As a Security Officer with MSS Security, you will also receive a range of benefits, including:
