Job Summary

This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced Health, Safety, and Security (HSS) professional to join the Human Resources team at News Corp Australia. As a trusted advisor, you will play a key role in providing expert guidance on HSS matters across the organization.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing specialist health, safety, and security advice to business leaders and teams
  • Supporting the development of risk management strategies and implementing controls to mitigate hazards
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to enhance overall safety measures and improve reporting and insights
  • Actively managing self-insurance and reviewing injury claims
  • Coaching employees on the use of electronic HSS management software

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in an industrial-based business, including office/administration areas
  • A Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety
  • Proven experience in safety risk management across similar production, operations, and manufacturing environments
  • Natural collaboration skills and ability to work effectively within local and remote teams
  • Outstanding listening skills, patience, and ability to influence others while maintaining empathy
