Key Responsibilities
  • Handling project correspondence
  • Generating purchase orders according to procurement guidelines
  • Goods receipting of delivery dockets and invoices
  • Arranging deliveries from suppliers
  • Maintaining plant and labour registers
  • Processing labour and plant timesheets
  • Preparing supply and subcontract tender documents in consultation with the Project Manager
  • Assisting the Project Manager with project reporting and job costing
  • Liaising with stakeholders, both internal and external
  • Preparing progress claims
Requirements
  • Proven administration experience within the Construction Industry, ideally as a project or site administrator
  • Highly computer literate with particular experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
  • A current minimum Class C drivers license
  • The ability to work under pressure within competing and tight timeframes
  • Be highly organised and have strong attention to detail
  • Be a strong communicator in both your written and verbal work
  • Be able to work autonomously to meet team goals
  • Based in the Newcastle Region and willing to travel to site as required by the project
  • Ability to navigate subcontract agreements
