The Construction Supervisor will oversee the assembly and erection of 3-piece transmission poles ensuring compliance with engineering designs, specifications and safety standards.
They will manage the construction and installation of pole top arrangements verifying alignment with project requirements and quality standards.
The successful candidate will supervise and manage conductor stringing operations including helicopter-assisted activities ensuring precise execution safety and coordination with aviation teams.
They must ensure accurate sagging of conductors applying specialized knowledge to meet tension and clearance requirements as per project specifications.
The Construction Supervisor will direct and monitor subcontractors involved in pole construction and stringing operations ensuring adherence to schedules quality and safety protocols.
They are responsible for enforcing strict adherence to workplace health and safety regulations particularly for high-risk activities involving helicopters and elevated work.
The Construction Supervisor will provide regular updates on construction progress including milestones challenges and risks to the project manager or relevant stakeholders.
They will address and resolve on-site issues related to construction and stringing activities escalating complex problems to the project manager when necessary.
The Construction Supervisor is responsible for coordinating the allocation of materials equipment and labor ensuring efficient use to meet project deadlines.
Required Skills and Qualifications- At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory position.
- Demonstrated experience in achieving performance goals and objectives.
- Demonstrated experience in managing high-performance teams.
- Demonstrated good safety record and knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety.
- Valid WA Driver's Licence –
