Job Summary

Cisco is seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team as a Proof of Concept Specialist. As a key member of our Global Demonstration Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering innovative proof of concept labs for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop proof of concept labs for customers, focusing on Enterprise Networking and Cisco Nexus technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business units, content developers, and partners, to ensure successful delivery of proof of concept labs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, account teams, and partners to understand their needs and requirements.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers, account teams, and partners throughout the proof of concept process.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Cisco technologies and industry trends to ensure the delivery of innovative and effective proof of concept labs.
Requirements
  • CCNP/CCIE level or equivalent experience with strong Routing, Switching, and Security background.
  • Experience with Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN, Controller Deployment and Design, Template Management, Policy Management, and Cloud On-Ramp for Multi-Cloud.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and apply judgment when executing processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong sense of urgency and flexibility to adapt to changing demands and priorities.
Desired Skills
  • Basic programming and scripting skills, including Go, Python, Ruby, PowerShell, XML, and SQL.
  • Basic web development and scripting skills.
