Technical Projects Systems Engineer

Cisco is seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team as a Proof of Concept Specialist. As a key member of our Global Demonstration Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering customer-facing proof of concept labs.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop proof of concept labs for customers, focusing on Enterprise Networking and Nexus technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including account teams, content developers, and partners, to ensure successful delivery of proof of concept labs.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design and test plans, to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers, partners, and internal teams during the proof of concept process.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the industry, and apply this knowledge to improve proof of concept labs and customer experiences.
- CCNP/CCIE level or equivalent experience with strong Routing, Switching, and Security background.
- Experience with Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN, Controller Deployment and Design, Template Management, Policy Management, and Cloud On-Ramp for Multi-Cloud.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and apply judgment when executing processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong sense of urgency and flexibility to adapt to changing demands and priorities.
- Basic programming and scripting skills, including Go, Python, Ruby, PowerShell, XML, and SQL.
- Basic web development and scripting skills.
- Ability to self-manage with good time management skills and the ability to organize competing priorities and tasks.
- Must possess a sense of urgency, able to respond to the shifting demands of a team driven by critical time-to-market business demands.
- Flexibility to perform a wide range of tasks, quickly respond to changes in demands, direction, and priorities, and accept new challenges, responsibilities, and assignments.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and apply judgment when executing processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
