About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Planning Advisor to join our team at Hostplus. As a key member of our superannuation advice team, you will be responsible for providing limited scope intra-fund personal advice to our members, as well as referring appointments to our in-house Financial Planners and Scaled Advisers where advice needs are more complex.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide members with accurate and timely limited scope intra-fund personal advice in accordance with relevant AFSL policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in the provision of limited scope intra-fund advice at Employers within our network.
  • Generate referrals and appointments for our scaled advisers and financial planners.
  • Participate in marketing campaigns, promotions, and other strategic activities involving the financial planning department.
About You
  • To be successful in this position, you must have a Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning or equivalent, and have passed the FASEA exam. You will also have demonstrated experience in financial planning, paraplanning, or a similar client servicing position, and a sound working knowledge of superannuation, investment, and insurance products.
  • You will have practical knowledge of financial planning software and CRM systems, and the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of people. You will also have a high commitment to delivering quality advice and service, and be an active member of a productive team.
