About the Role:


We are seeking a talented and experienced Associate Advisor to join our team at William Buck. As a key member of our financial planning team, you will be responsible for devising and preparing financial planning strategies in collaboration with senior advisors.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Collaborate with senior advisors to develop and implement financial planning strategies
  • Attend client meetings to provide expert advice and guidance
  • Conduct financial modeling and analysis to inform decision-making
  • Assist in managing client relationships and ensuring their needs are met and exceeded
  • Prepare advice documents as required
  • Liaise with fund managers and third parties to ensure seamless service delivery

About You:


To be successful in this role, you will require:



  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
  • A minimum of 2+ years' experience in a paraplanning or similar position within a professional services environment or boutique practice
  • A strong understanding of the financial planning process
  • Experience in preparation of Statement of Advice (SOA) and Retirement Outcome Statement (ROA)
  • Proficiency with XPlan financial planning software
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, prioritise workflow, and manage projects
