Financial Accountant Role

The Financial Accountant is a key member of the finance team, responsible for managing accounts receivable and payable, processing direct debit payments, and staff reimbursements. This role also oversees asset registers, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial analysis including forecasting.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing cash flow and ensuring timely payment to suppliers.
  • Preparing and reviewing financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Performing account reconciliation and investigating any discrepancies.
  • Providing financial support to other departments as needed.
Qualifications and Skills

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Accountant with a strong background in accounting and finance. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/CA qualification an advantage).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Attention to detail and high-quality data entry skills.
