About this Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Procurement Officer to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice and assurance on procurement and contract processes, as well as developing and managing procurement policies and processes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing expert advice and assurance on ACCC procurement and contract processes;
  • Developing and managing procurement policies and processes;
  • Working collaboratively with internal teams and stakeholders to achieve service delivery outcomes;
  • Managing the development and continuous improvement of ACCC procurement policies and processes;
  • Identifying, developing, and managing procurement and contract management training to ACCC staff;

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience and strong understanding of Commonwealth Government procurement framework;
  • Demonstrated experience undertaking end-to-end procurement;
  • Able to effectively manage competing priorities and strategic directions;
  • Demonstrated experience leading, mentoring and developing a team;
